International Development Scholarship in association with International Students House (East London)
All applicants must hold an offer on the MSc NGO and Development Management Programme before applying for this scholarship. All applicants intending to apply for the scholarship must have submitted their application to the Programme by 5pm (UK time) on 20 June 2012. Applications for the scholarship must be submitted by 13 July 2012. Please note:

The International Development Scholarship in association with International Students House (ISH) is a combined tuition fee, residential and maintenance scholarship offered to an international student from a developing country, who intends to make a positive contribution to the development of their home country as result of completing the MSc NGO and Development Management Programm, who would otherwise be unable to pursue the Programme for financial reasons.
The Scholarship will be offered annually and is the product of a partnership between International Students House, one of London’s largest residences for International Students, and the University of East London, a global learning community with over 28,000 students from over 120 countries world-wide.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the International Development Scholarship, applicants must:
- First apply online for the MSc NGO and Development programme. The application will be assessed and if you are successful, the International admissions office will send you an International offer letter at UEL
AND
- Be from a developing or emerging country. Please click here for a list of developing or emerging countries. If you are from a country that is not on this list but you believe it should be, please email scholarships@uel.ac.uk for clarification
- Intend to return to your home country on completion of the course in order to put your studies into practice
