This percentage does testify the ability of Canadian research and teaching institutions to \u201cabsorb\u201d and \u201cdigest\u201d brains coming from almost everywhere in the world. This ability is not granted. If we imagine how difficult it is in other countries for foreign researchers and PhD holders to have access at lectureship or tenurable teaching positions in postsecondary institutions, we can realise that Canada proves to have a very integrative scientific community.
