These scholarships are funded by the UK\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5;\" title=\"DFID\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dfid.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Department for International Development (DFID)<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5;\">. For information on other scholarships offered by the CSC, visit our\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5;\" title=\"Apply\" href=\"http:\/\/cscuk.dfid.gov.uk\/apply\/\">Apply page<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"post-548\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h3>Levels and subjects of study<\/h3>\n<p>You can apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship for the following levels of study:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s (one-year courses only)<\/li>\n<li>PhD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All subject areas are eligible, although the CSC\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cscuk.dfid.gov.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/selection-criteria-developing-cw-2015.pdf\">selection criteria<\/a>\u00a0give priority to applications that demonstrate the strongest relevance to development.<\/p>\n<p>You are requested to apply for a course of study at a UK university with which the CSC has a part funding agreement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Working with UK universities\" href=\"http:\/\/cscuk.dfid.gov.uk\/apply\/uk-universities\/\">UK universities which have part funding agreements with the CSC<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Nominations<\/h3>\n<p>There is a nominating agency for Commonwealth Scholarships in each Commonwealth country. In addition, universities and university bodies in a number of developing Commonwealth countries are invited to nominate candidates to the CSC.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">How to apply<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All applications\u00a0<strong>must<\/strong>\u00a0be made through your<strong>\u00a0nominating agency (or university\/university body, if applicable) in your home country<\/strong>.
