Moreover, the partner universities offer jointly supervised <a title=\"research lines\" href=\"http:\/\/em-idealab.com\/application\/research.html\" rel=\"self\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\">research lines<\/span><\/span><\/a>. Candidates are highly recommended to write a proposal that fits into one of these <a title=\"research lines\" href=\"http:\/\/em-idealab.com\/application\/research.html\" rel=\"self\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\">research lines<\/span><\/span><\/a>. It is also possible to suggest other project proposals that center around language and brain. In this case, please name two potential supervisors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Next application period:<\/strong> from 15th September 2014 to 15th November 2014 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Required documents<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; a personal and academic curriculum vitae, <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; a description of the motivation for applying to the program, <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; a 8-10 pages research proposal (see <a href=\"http:\/\/em-idealab.com\/resources\/Application\/Research-Project-Proposal.pdf\" rel=\"self\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\">template<\/span><\/span><\/a>), <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; research-motivated preference for a home university and <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; the mobility plan, <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; a certified copy of highest degree certificates and <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; of academic records, <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; reference letters of two academics in English, <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; a proof of sufficient English language knowledge, and <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8211; a copy of the identification papers or passport.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Master students can apply prior to the degree if they do a 2-years program and have been awarded at least 60 ECTS in the first year; in case of selection for the program the offer will be conditional not only on completing the Masters but also on grades &#8211; both overall and (particularly) of the thesis.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong>Application procedure<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply for IDEALAB please log in to the<strong> <\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/application.phd-idealab.com\/\" rel=\"self\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000080; text-decoration: underline;\">application portal<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You will have the possibility to upload all required documents or to fill in forms with required information. Preselected candidates receive an invitation to a Skype-interview on December 19 + 20, 2013.
