Manuel Muranga ist ist Prof. f\u00fcr Germanistik an der Makerere University in Kampala sowie Principal der Bishop Barham University Kabale (Uganga). He was the first\u00a0African\u00a0known to have attended a European\u00a0university.Amo was a\u00a0Nzema\u00a0(an\u00a0Akan\u00a0people). He was born in\u00a0Awukena\u00a0in the\u00a0Axim\u00a0region of Ghana, but at the age of about four he was taken to\u00a0Amsterdam\u00a0by the\u00a0Dutch West India Company\u00bb.
