The scholarships can be used for selected short courses in the Netherlands. They are proportionally distributed among the participating countries. Ideally, half of the scholarships are allocated to female applicants.<\/p>\n<div id=\"parent-fieldname-text-78894047e1474dc6930028c966df1dbd\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The MENA Scholarship Programme aims to contribute to capacity building within a wide range of governmental, non-governmental and private organisations and institutions in seven selected countries:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Algeria<\/li>\n<li>Iraq<\/li>\n<li>Lebanon<\/li>\n<li>Morocco<\/li>\n<li>Oman<\/li>\n<li>Syria<\/li>\n<li>Tunisia<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Target group<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The target group are professionals employed by organisations or institutions operating in one of the following sectors:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Water management<\/li>\n<li>Business administration and management<\/li>\n<li>Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries<\/li>\n<li>Geographical Information Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You must be a national of and working in one of the seven countries.
