January 1st, 2013 (10 PhD\u00a0positions). Funding will be for 36 months.<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Deadline for applications is June 1st, 2012<\/span><\/strong> (positions starting October 2012)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Graduate School combines research interests of groups from the Departments of Medicine,\u00a0Biology, and Chemistry to investigate the molecular interactions of pathogens with cellular barriers\u00a0and abiotic surfaces. The three-year PhD program will provide excellent training and research\u00a0opportunities in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, infectiology, microbiology, and\u00a0molecular biomedicine accompanied by additional training offered by several soft skills programs.\u00a0The Graduate School offers a continuous educational program conducted in English including\u00a0training courses in experimental techniques. Seminars given by leading international scientists will\u00a0foster a broad view on current topics in molecular life sciences.
