But the facts indicate a very pessimistic tendency. During the opening of the Economic and Social Council\u2019s High Level Segment, at the United Nations in Geneva on 4 July 2011, she called for more actions: \u201cI am positive we can engage in a new global solidarity compact and start setting the agenda today for after 2015\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In fact, according to UN statistics, about 69 million school-age children are not in school.
