\"\"International PhD-Program at the Max Delbr\u00fcck Centre for Molecular Medicine (MDC)<\/span><\/h3>\n

The application deadline is March 20th, 2012. The programmes starts in June 2012 for a duration of 3 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

The International PhD program of the Max Delbr\u00fcck Centre for Molecular Medicine (MDC) in Berlin offers 20 PhD Positions. The MDC currently hosts more than 50 research groups and 250 doctorate students working in the fields of:<\/p>\n

Molecular Biology,
\nCardiovascular & Metabolic Research,
\nCancer biology,
\nDevelopmental Biology,
\nMedical Systems Biology,
\nStructural Biology
\nNeurobiology.<\/p>\n

On joining the Helmholtz Graduate School for Molecular Cell Biology at the MDC, PhD students receive interdisciplinary training in Molecular Cell Biology and Molecular Medicine and may join the special research schools in `Molecular Neurobiology\u00b4 (MolNeuro) or `Translational Cardiovascular Medicine\u00b4 (TransCard). All PhD students enjoy support such as travel grants for conferences and external courses, participation in summer schools, annual PhD retreats and social activities. The Graduate School of the MDC works in close collaboration with Berlin universities, the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin und Humboldt Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin.

Requirements \/ Qualification<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants are required to hold (or obtain within 6 months of the interview week) a university degree equivalent to a German Diplom (score at least ‘Gut’, ?2,4) or MSc (?75%) with research thesis.
\nPlease note that we will not accept applications with only a Bachelors degree.<\/p>\n
