Earlier studies by our group led to a more detailed characterization of the MIF- interactome JBC (2009) 284, 34944-34953 and JBC (2009) 284, 7977-7985). The aim now is to deepen the functional investigation of the interaction of MIF with different binding partners. The focus is on mechanistic studies on regulation of actin cytoskeleton, but also preparation for structural studies of a complex of MIF with its endogenous inhibitor RP S19 (collaboration with Elias Lolis, Yale University, New Haven). Moreover, there is an obligation to take on teaching duties in accordance with the &lsquo;Regulation teaching obligation&rsquo; of the State of Hesse (\u00a7 65 HHG).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme starts\u00a0in 01.04.2012 for a duration of\u00a036 months. The working Language of the programme is\u00a0English \u00a0and German.
