The integration in international co-operations requires the ability to cooperate in an international team, thus we expect good skills in the spoken and written English language.
Please note that applications for HITEC fellows are welcomed from any qualified applicants, regardless of gender, ethnicity or country of origin, but will only be considered if eligibility requirements are met and the application guidelines are strictly adhered to.
The best candidates will be invited to Germany for a week (April 2012) in order to work out the details of the project with the research group which hosts the project. The final decision of candidates/projects will be reached after individual presentations. The earliest starting point will be June 2012, later starts are possible. Payment of the PhD fellows will be based on the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service (TVöD).

Compulsory Attachments

Curriculum vitae

http://www.fz-juelich.de/SharedDocs/Stellenangebote/_common/dipldok/d114-2011-hitec.html

Host institution:

Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH
52428 Jülich

HITEC (Helmholtz Interdisciplinary Doctoral Training in Energy and Climate)
Jülich

– Determination of thermodynamic key data for the development of advanced Lithium ion battery electrode materials – Influence of large-scale production processes on the precipitation hardening behaviour of heat resistant ferritic Iron-base alloys – Development of liquid silicon hydride-based semiconductor technology – The dynamics of electrons in linear plasma devices and its impact on plasma […]

[18

post-1745","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-scholarship-bourses
