\"\"<\/a>Germany as a country is becoming more opened. This \u201cnew age\u201d in German history is easily noticeable. Cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, and Maanheim are a sort of melting pot of people from several nationalities and cultures. The central train station of Frankfurt am Main for instance is almost controlled by owners of Chinese restaurants. There is no doubt that Germany of the 21st<\/sup> century is far different from the Bundesrepublik of the 1950s. At the academic and scientific level, international exchanges of students and scientists have been intensified, with the DAAD playing a key role in German foreign policy.<\/p>\n

Alongside the intensification of scientific cooperation with foreign research institutions and universities, German authorities have created new academic programs aiming at internationalizing the curriculum. There is actually a strong international focus in German postsecondary institutions and several academic programs can be completed in foreign languages. Business studies for instance could be completed in English from the Bachelor to the PhD level. In clear, there is no need to be fluent in German language anymore. Even if a basic knowledge of German is always necessary for social integration as student, this could be achieved during the academic year. Broadly, the following academic programs could be completed in English language:<\/p>\n
