African Good Governance Network (AGGN)
The African Good Governance Network (AGGN) supports a group of highly qualified academics from sub-Saharan Africa who promote the values of good governance and democratisation by advocating economic and political change in their home countries.
Background
Academics who have graduated abroad usually play a key role in the transformation process in their home countries. In this context, the DAAD supports the training of highly qualified African academics who have studied or are still studying in Germany. Members of the network take part in workshops on good governance, democracy and acquire relevant soft skills.
