Scholarships for a PhD in the field of Catalysis at the Technical University of Berlin (Germany)
You would like to write your PhD as a member of the BIG-NSE PhD school and of the UniCat research cluster and need a scholarship (for a planned PhD start in October 2015)?
Then congratulations, you are on the right webpage here!
For the next season (PhD start in October 2015), well have at least five « home-made » BIG-NSE scholarships to offer. It is however not excluded that a few additional scholarships will be made available, like for example, DAAD-sponsored scholarships.
The application requirements and procedure could be a little bit different for each scholarship type; but in order to simplify the application procedure, we will request you to send only one application. Depending on your country of origin, your area of education and a few other factors, we will then determine which scholarship type can be offered.
The monthly amount of the scholarship does not differ considerably from one type to the other, the required applications documents neither.
The deadline for application is January 15, 2015.
Whatever the type of scholarship you finally get offered, before you apply for one of the scholarships, you should first have a look at our Recruitment Philosophy webpage to be sure the School is what you are looking for and that you have a chance of being accepted as a future PhD student.
For all scholarship types, you have to apply using our application portal. This portal is only accessible to duly registered users who have logged into the webpage. The first step for you is to go to our Login Portal and to login there. Then a link to the Application Portal will appear and you can fill in the necessary forms and upload the required documents. Good luck and hopefully see you soon in Berlin!
