23rd World Congress of Political Science: where are African political scientists?
African delegations to the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil were almost plethoric. It is always the case for any sport event. But when it comes to scientific meetings, Africans are always absent. Since July 19th, 2014, Political Scientists from different countries are thinking the future of their discipline in Montreal (Canada). World leading scientific publishers are also present. But there is no single African publisher to be seen. Admirably, Nigeria is represented by 25 members (mostly political scientists) and South Africa by a solid delegation of 27 members.
