Phd Scholarships in Germany (physics, geophysics, meteorology, oceanography, chemistry, ecology, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics)
The PhD program is open to applicants holding a Master’s degree (with written thesis) or a German ‘Diplom’ in physics, geophysical sciences (incl. meteorology and oceanography), chemistry, ecology, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or economics.
Also students currently still working on their MSc thesis are encouraged to apply.
The selection procedure includes an interview of short-listed candidates.
Online registration for the Year 2014 opened on 1st July 2013.
Doctoral positions generally start in March; financial support will be offered
in the form of a stipend or a doctoral contract (duration up to 3 years).
PhD topics will be finalized upon admission.
