within the TV-L E13 German public sector pay scale in the new Research Training Group (RTG)
SCARE — System Correctness under Adverse Conditions
funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG GRK 1765). The positions at the Department of Computing Science will be offered in three cohorts: five positions starting on 1 October 2012, five positions on 1 October 2013, and five positions on 1 October 2014. Each position is limited to three years.
Successful applicants for the research programme should have an excellent Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, fluency in English, and a strong interest in exploring new notions of system correctness in a cooperative research environment.
For the first SCARE cohort starting on 1 October 2012, we invite applications consisting of a CV, transcripts of the records summarizing the candidate’s academic performance, a statement of interest in SCARE, and names of two references, to be sent in pdf format to: scare
