(Berlin-Germany): 10 scholarships for Doctoral Candidates in Infection Biology and Immunology

The ZIBI Graduate School Berlin is an international doctoral program for research in infection biology and immunology. The Graduate School is the roof of the International Max Planck Research School for Infectious Diseases and Immunology (IMPRS-IDI, funded by the Max Planck Society MPG) and the Research Training Group ?Genetic and Immunologic Determinants of Pathogen-Host-Interactions (GRK1121, funded by the German Research Foundation DFG).

We offer outstanding training and support in an excellent scientific network. Faculty members are affiliated with many well-known institutes (for details see our website). Our mission is to develop students into creative, responsible and self- confident young researchers. We are looking for highly motivated students of all nationalities who are strongly committed to research and share our vision to improve world health.

The working language is English, and the languages of the Doctoral Thesis are English or German

Applicants must hold a Master, a German Diploma or equivalent degree in biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, chemistry, or other related subjects. It is not necessary to hold the degree at the time of application. However, you must have been awarded your degree prior to enrollment into the program.
Preparatory program: Only in rare instances we accept applicants holding a Bachelor degree (4 years of study including a thesis). These applicants have to be outstanding. It is not necessary to hold the Bachelor degree at the time of application. However, you must have been awarded your degree prior to enrollment into the program.
