PhD Scholarship in the Theory of Quantum Sensors (Autralia)
Immediately available is a PhD scholarship in the research and development of quantum sensors. Quantum sensors utilise quantum systems to achieve high precision measurement of forces, electric fields, magnetic fields etc. In particular the project will focus on the theory of quantum moving systems – e.g. optomechanical, electromechanical, system to perform high precision seining.
The scholarships cover the national/international fees (International: 32,000$/yr), and provides an annual stipend of ~25,000$, with some support for relocation.
DEADLINE: October 1, 2013
