Belgium: Training Scholarships for Students and Professionals from developing countries
Students and professionals from Africa are advised to submit their application earlier. The deadline for application is February 1st, 2012.
The VLIR-UOS training scholarships in Belgium are short training programmes (one to four months) devoted to students and professional from developing countries. The aim of this scholarship programme is to encourage skills transfer (rather than knowledge transfer) while reinforcing cooperation and networking between Belgium and the partner countries.
The receiving institutions are the Universiteit Antwerpen, the Universiteit Gent and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Université Libre de Bruxelles).

• AudioVisual Learning Materials – Management, Production and Activities (AVLM)
• Beekeeping for Poverty Alleviation• International Training Programme in Food Safety, Quality Assurance Systems and Risk Analysis• Human Rights for Development
• Technology for Integrated Water Management
Number of Awards:
Number of awards per year: up to 70 scholarships to training participants.
Citizens from the following countries are eligible:

The scholarships cover all related expenses.
